I was hoping someone would start a thread on this. I actually think the story is BS in the sense that there is no way Lavar and whoever else is involved with him didn't know about Foster's white collar criminal backround. That is absurd. The guy did like 6-7 years jail time right before meeting them.
But beyond that, I'm not even sure if that Foster guy outright stole the money. It's probably one of those situations where it was more grey area. Lavar has been driving luxury cars since Lonzo was like 13-14 years old, I'm sure this guy was bankrolling a lot of that and he was finally getting his kick back. Then once Lonzo found out about this, he probably saw it a little differently. That's just speculation but I'm sure there is a lot of grey to it when you're selling stock in your kids.
Even the smarter sports reporters are unsure of what to say on the matter because it seems like more info may come out.
Either way, just goes to show you can't pick your family. Hope Lonzo can get healthy and get his career on track.
